Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see your full list of wedding collections?

Of course you can. If you like what you've seen so far and want to know more then please head over to the contact page. Fill out the short form and I'll be in touch within 1-24 hours to answer any queries you might have.

What kind of deposit do you require?

I ask that you pay a £300 deposit to secure my services and make me unavailable to other couples for your chosen day.

It says you're a Newcastle wedding photographer. Do you go further afield?

I certainly do. Travel is no stranger to me. I love any opportunity to venture to new places within England, the wider U.K. or the world. I have no limitations. We can talk further about travel expenses when we get to that stage but they're never more than they need to be.

How many images do we get?

There is no limit to the amount of pictures you will receive but on average, a typical wedding will be between 600-800 edited photographs. The more time we have on your day, the more creative we can get and the more images we can produce together.

What equipment do you use?

I choose to use professional Nikon equipment and a wide selection of high quality lenses. I also bring my own high powered, outdoor studio lighting systems which I use throughout the day to produce a higher quality of photo over natural lighting alone, something very few photographers manage to do without hiring an assistant. These are also useful in case of bad weather, forcing us to shoot Indoors.

How long do you stay for?

All wedding collections include my services for a minimum of 9 hours. This gives us ample time to cover the complete event and some. Generally I start with the bridal preparations and finish shortly after the first dance, further coverage can be added for a further fee if you would like me around for any extra hours.

How long before I receive my photographs?

Your online gallery will be up and ready within 10-14 days. This allows you to view and share your images via social media, as well as purchase any prints via the online print store. You'll then receive your USB containing all high and low resolution Images, watermark free, within 2-3 weeks, possibly more during busier periods. Every effort is made to deliver your images as soon as possible.

What is a consultation and why is it free?

This is our first point of contact. I like to meet all my clients in person (if possible) or over Skype if a personal meeting is not possible. This allows us to get to know each other in a relaxed and friendly environment and further discuss your wedding day. This process I do for free, I will not charge you for my time or for travel expenses, whether you decide to book me or not.

What is an engagement session?

For most couples, being in front of a professional camera is not something they have much practice with. The engagement session is the best opportunity for you to spend some time together in front of the lens long before your wedding day. We will spend an hour or two together, in a location that has importance to you both, this could be the place you first met, where you shared your first kiss, had your first date or simply a local beach, countryside or urban spot. Lets get really creative and take some awesome photographs. Please do check out some of my previous engagement shoots.

What Now?

If you're happy enough so far, the next step is to get in touch. Do not hesitate to clear up any further questions you might have and let's start you on your journey together.
