Best in Street Photography

Newcastle upon Tyne

While out walking the streets of Newcastle I came across a large group of pigeons at Old Eldon Square, clearly they were up to no good so I swooped in. Upon closer inspection, I notice a sharply dressed young man feeding the pretty little beasts. A photo I couldn't resist taking.

Palais de Chaillot, Paris

A short walk over the Pont D’lena brings you to Palais de Chaillot where I was relaxing in the summer sun. Shortly thereafter I was joined by a young companion who sat a few rows down from me. I sneakily tiptoed down a few rows before making haste towards to adjacent set of steps to snap this image, just before the area was overrun with others tourists.

Engagement shoot

Leah and Bernd were visiting Paris during the summer to celebrate their recent engagement. I happened by the couple shooting their own engagement photos using a camera on a tripod setup, not ideal for such a special occasion. I offered to take a few photos for them, followed by a second shoot later that week at the Lourve.

Rue Saint-Louis en I'lle

While walking along Rue Saint-Louis en I'lle, I came across this father and son duo who were taking a moment to enjoy an ice-cream together. As they prepare to move on I was able to capture a very loving and slightly comical moment between them.

Leaving Tuileries Garden brings you to a set of steps leading up towards the Lourve.

Parc de Choisy

During summer 2020, it was always nice to get a sense of normality, however small. On my way to Chinatown, Paris, I detoured through Parc de Choisy where I came across two strangers playing Ping-Pong together. It was a small but very refreshing moment.

55 Degrees North

Walking around the streets of Newcastle looking for interesting subjects to photograph, I found myself by the 55 degrees north apartment complex. With striking architecture I found a composition I wanted to work into my next image. I was stood waiting for the right character to enter my scene, when a young lad came running along the wall to perform a superhuman jump.
